JL Construction Enterprises, Inc. was built from the ground up by Jody Lent – rooted in Kingston, NY, and driven by a strong commitment to hard work, integrity, and community.
With over 15 years of hands-on experience, Jody founded JL Construction with a simple goal: work hard, stay accountable, and take pride in every job – no matter the size.
What began as a small local operation has grown into a full-service site work and excavation company serving the Hudson Valley, Capital Region, New Jersey, and beyond. Despite that growth, Jody remains closely involved, regularly on job sites, in planning meetings, and working alongside his team. He takes pride in being in the field and believes the best work comes from being present and hands-on.
For Jody, construction is personal. It’s about building trust, supporting local communities, and delivering work that lasts. Every project reflects the same mindset he started with: show up, work hard, and build something you’re proud to put your name on.
